Address transportation with of goal of a compact, connected Delray that is less car-dependent and more walking, bicycling, and transit (trolley, cart) friendly.
Sustainable & Resilient
Advocate for policies that protect our fragile environment and recognize the unique challenges of living in coastal South Florida.
Workforce/Education
Continue to Grow and diversify Delray’s economy by encouraging Investment in our Workforce, Education Systems, Entrepreneurs, and Local Businesses.
Green Infrastructure
Use and manage green infrastructure to protect environmentally sensitive areas and integrate nature throughout the city.
Creative Economy
Grow, invest, encourage and support Delray’s live music, festivals, theater, film, digital media, and new creative art forms.
Affordability
Support workforce housing, considering household costs, transportation and access to needs as essential and interrelated.
Healthy Delray
Create a healthy Delray by supporting access to community and health services, local and healthy food, and physical activity.
Development Regulations
Improve Delray’s entitlement and permitting process to promote a compact and connected city that depends less on the car and more on walking, bicycling, and transit. Policies should encourage better design, a better mix of uses and a higher level of debate and civic engagement. The development process should also be tough but fair and conducted within a reasonable time frame.
